Where I’m at

February 2nd, 2009

My website is long overdue a massive update, which it will receive in the not too distant future. Please be patient, expect to see lots of new work soon!

I have now moved to London, SE1 and am working full time at the Leica specialist Richard Caplan Photographic. Previous to this, I was freelancing as an assistant and photographer after graduating in June 2008. I am still open to assisting and photographic work, as I can often fit it around my full time employment. I recently completed shooting the town of Tidworth for the Wiltshire County Council, who are producing a brochure to attract foreign businesses to the area.

If anyone is looking for a part time assistant, to do a collaboration or just an extra set of hands then feel free to get in touch.

I was in the process of writing an article on Film vs. Digital, but decided my time would be better put towards a topic which is a bit different (the film or digital debate seems to crop up every time I go to the pub). It will be called ‘The Taken or the Made’, and is an aspect of photography that I think is very interesting.

Any comments, questions or queries feel free to contact me.

Cheers, Alex.
