Where I’m at
February 2nd, 2009My website is long overdue a massive update, which it will receive in the not too distant future. Please be patient, expect to see lots of new work soon!I am now working as photographer for Hometown World, a book and stationery publishing company. Traveling around the UK, I shoot everything from architecture to landscapes, products to interiors whilst still maintaining my own practice and assisting.Previous to this, I was freelancing as an assistant and photographer after graduating in June 2008. I am still open to assisting and photographic work, as I can often fit it around my full time employment. If anyone is looking for a part time assistant, to do a collaboration or just an extra set of hands then feel free to get in touch. To view my CV please click here.I was in the process of writing an article on Film vs. Digital, but decided my time would be better put towards a topic which is a bit different (the film or digital debate seems to crop up every time I go to the pub). It will be called ‘The Taken or the Made’, and is an aspect of photography that I think is very interesting.Any comments, questions or queries feel free to contact me.Cheers, Alex.
